Good Morning October!


Good Morning Friends! Happy October!
This beautiful view was captured recently from my sewing studio.
I so enjoy starting my day watching the sunrise!


Now to reveal the completion of the Summer 2013 Quilting Challenge, you may remember the earlier post back in July.
I asked for your input concerning fabrics and quilt patterns...then with the information collected I created an original design for a new table runner!
I combined vanishing 9 patch blocks with a star block and tons of scrappy fabrics...
I love the pattern so much, now I am collecting scraps so I can make a full size quilt!

Off to clean the sewing area...sewing class today at 'high noon'. Teaching children to sew is never boring! :)
